Lenders One Adds Member Relations Manager

""Lenders One Mortgage Cooperative"":http://www.lendersone.com, a national alliance of more than 150 independent mortgage bankers, announced Monday the addition of Mike McDermott as member relations manager.
[IMAGE] In his role, McDermott will foster and maintain preferred vendor and investor partnerships, as well as work with cooperative members to help them maximize the benefits available through Lenders One, the organization explained.

[COLUMN_BREAK] McDermott has more than 13 years of varied mortgage industry experience, ranging from market and business development to project management and strategy execution.

Prior to joining Lenders One, he was regional VP and external wholesaler for Allianz Life Financial Services, where his responsibilities involved building relationships with executives and financial advisors to market and distribute fixed and variable annuity products.

McDermott also was an account executive at both Credit Suisse Financial Corporation and Aurora Loan Services, enabling him to network with mortgage companies in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois through sales of wholesale products. Other experience includes positions in wholesale and secondary marketing at 1st National Bank of Arizona, and as AVP and secondary marketing supervisor at Matrix Financial Services.

In regards to his contribution to Lenders One, McDermott explained, ""Lenders One has emerged as a leader in providing independent mortgage bankers the tools they need to remain competitive and profitable. The cooperative also has earned the respect of industry vendors by creating a marketplace for business opportunities with small- to mid-sized lenders.
