The ""U.S. Mortgage Insurance"":http://mortgageinsurance.genworth.com/ (USMI) unit of Genworth Financial, Inc., announced Monday that it has made enhancements to its customer-facing website.
[IMAGE]The enhancements are designed to reduce the time and data entry required to submit a full-service loan package. The site's new Quick Submit option eliminates redundant data entry, providing a better experience for lenders who currently submit loan documents via email or on paper. Customers using Quick Submit can perform single-click document uploads-even with multiple files-and can view and track the status of every loan.
Quick Submit also allows a customer to complete data fields required for a mortgage insurance decision in about 60 seconds. In addition, it cuts down the time required to submit a full loan package, including all required documents.
USMI also announced that it increased staffing to ensure a smooth transition for customers who use the Quick Submit option so that there is no change in the company's insurance decision turn times. Online training will be provided to customers by USMI so they can better understand how to use the new feature.
Users who tried the Quick Submit enhancement during its trial period expressed great satisfaction, with 92 percent of former ""FlexConnect"":https://flexconnect.genworth.com/login/login.aspx?TYPE=100663297&REALMOID=06-3cd49729-f67a-483b-924c-870c622e56dd&GUID=&SMAUTHREASON=0&METHOD=GET&SMAGENTNAME=-SM-fnfHBGZOrqWH0%2boVgdA3aSnlEvP22KwWBjbGHw%2b4tVcLILZtkhOmpQQDHXYnMEGf&TARGET=-SM-https%3a%2f%2fflexconnect.genworth.com%2f users choosing the Quick Submit option. The company noted that customers who prefer the current online process will still have the option to use it.
