Association of Mortgage Field Services Releases Practitioner Tools

The ""National Association of Mortgage Field Services"":http://namfs.org/ (NAMFS) has teamed up with the REO property preservation firm ""Field Asset Services, Inc."":http://www.fieldassets.com to provide its members with information on local code enforcement officials and homeowners association (HOA) contacts.

The organization's database contains approximately 12,000 code officials and 2,500 HOA contacts nationwide and has been tied to interactive search tools that allow users to locate individuals by name, title, municipality, state, or ZIP code.

The code enforcement search tool and the HOA directory search tool are both available to association members via ""NAMFS.org"":http://namfs.org.

Search results populate in HTML format but can also be downloaded in Excel format to streamline use in other programs. In addition to providing search functionality, the new tools allow users to update information for existing contacts and submit new contacts if they are not already in the database.

NAMFS says its primary focus is on improving relationships between field service providers and local officials â€" an area often seen as a divide within the industry that the association believes needs bridging.

""Providing a single source for code official and HOA information to our members affirms NAMFS' goal to offer solutions for the mortgage field services industry,"" said Eric S. Miller, executive director of the Ohio-based trade association.

NAMFS says its most recent partnership with Texas-based Field Asset Services has helped to reinforce the association's goal of nurturing and improving the mortgage field service industry through the facilitation of better communication and cooperation with local officials.
