Potential homebuyers can browse homes and compare mortgage rates from one app.

""At Zillow, a significant part of our usage now comes from mobile â€" home shoppers are viewing more than 2.5 million homes on Zillow every day from a mobile device, which equates to 28 homes every second,"" said Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff.

""Real estate is inherently mobile, and our goal is to provide people with information about homes â€" and home financing â€" whenever and wherever they need it,"" Rascoff added.

Zillow Mortgage Marketplace is available as a standalone app or as a component of the Zillow iPhone App.

Features of Zillow Mortgage Marketplace include a payment calculator to estimate monthly payments on a home and an affordability calculator that helps home shoppers find homes within their budget.

After receiving a personal loan quote and browsing lender reviews, shoppers can connect with a lender and begin the pre-approval process from their iPhone.

Zillow also made a few improvements in regards to its app's usability - increasing the speed of its map views and allowing searches to be saved and filtered.
