Fannie Mae plans to continue offering its traditional CIRT transactions that cover existing loans in its portfolio.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) put out the call on Thursday for public comment regarding the draft of requirements that would apply to private mortgage insurance companies that insure mortgage loans owned or guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Radian Guaranty released data for primary mortgage insurance delinquencies for the month of February on Wednesday, reporting fewer loans are delinquent as of the end of the month. New insurance written for the month came in at $1.9 billion, with a beginning primary delinquent inventory of 58,782.
