Full-service residential and commercial real estate legal services firm McCalla Raymer, LLC has announced the opening of a new office in Oxford, Mississippi, as well as the addition of senior counsel Jim DeLoach and associate David Flautt to the firm.

Default services law firm McCalla Raymer announced the opening of four new offices in Georgia to serve its residential closing department, and at the same time announced the addition of three new partners, Pilar Gigante, Heather Ison and Deb Kalish, to the firm.

McCalla Raymer, a full service provider of residential and commercial real estate legal services, was honored by the Downtown Orlando Partnership at its annual ceremony. The company was the recipient of the Golden Brick Award, given out annually to projects that affect the downtown development district.

McCalla Raymer, LLC announced it has completed the acquisition for a substantial portion of assets from Prommis Holdings for an undisclosed amount.

McCalla Raymer, a provider of legal services to the mortgage banking industry, reached an agreement with Prommis Holdings to purchase some of the assets that currently support the non-legal support functions of the firm. Prommis filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on March 18. The agreement is subject to bankruptcy court approval and is expected to close in the next few weeks, Atlanta-based McCalla Raymer announced.

McCalla Raymer, LLC announced Friday the appointment of Judy Mattingly as director of client relations.

The law firm of McCalla Raymer LLC recently announced that Kent Altom has been named managing partner of the firm's Georgia and Alabama litigation and trial practice group. McCalla Raymer specializes in bankruptcy, foreclosure, REO, and eviction services throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Altom joined the firm's litigation and trial practice group in 2005 and is admitted to practice law in Alabama and Georgia.

McCalla Raymer, LLC recently announced that Denise Rowan has been named partner within the firm's commercial real estate and workouts practice group. Rowan will be located in the firm's new Panama City, Florida office, opened in early March. She will report directly to Wendy Reiss, managing partner of the firm's commercial real estate and creditor's rights practice.

McCalla Raymer LLC, a Georgia-based provider of real estate and mortgage banking legal services, announced Monday that it has officially opened a new office in Panama City, Florida. The firm announced its expansion into the Florida market in early February. The new Panama City location is McCalla Raymer's third opening in the state. It also has offices in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.
