Redfin has laid out a list of predictions on what one should expect from the housing market next year.

Homes built during the pandemic boom are now going up for sale, according to Redfin's latest market report. The share of new construction homes reached 29%, marking a new high for any Q3 on record.

New construction is not the only path to replenishing the housing supply, it is the most plausible, experts conclude, and they say scaling back building restrictions could boost effectiveness.
