Freddie Mac Veteran Named VP of Multifamily Production and Sales

In his new position, McRoberts is responsible for the origination and purchase of conventional multifamily loans nationwide, the Program Plus Seller/Servicer network, and the four multifamily regional sales offices.

McRoberts transitioned to this position from his prior role as VP and national head of underwriting and credit for Freddie Mac's multifamily division, responsible for managing the underwriting and credit approval of all multifamily debt investment. Prior to leading this department, McRoberts ran the Southeast regional office for Freddie Mac, where his team was the leading producer for five consecutive years.

Before joining Freddie Mac in 1992, McRoberts held positions at First Maryland Mortgage Corporation in Baltimore and First Interstate Mortgage Corporation in Denver and Kansas City.
