Brock & Scott Acquires Georgia Law Firm

Brock & Scott, PLLC, announced Wednesday the acquisition of law firm Shuping, Morse & Ross, LLP. The recently acquired firm has been in business for 25 years.

Brock & Scott will add seasoned attorneys and dedicated staff members from Shuping, Morse & Ross to its Atlanta office.

The acquisition was effective on February 19, when the Shuping, Morse & Ross team joined Brock & Scott's existing Default Services Practice areas, led by Managing Partners January Taylor and Kyle Kotake.

"We are pleased that Brock & Scott will be retaining our attorneys and staff as part of the acquisition of our firm.  This event presents a unique and positive opportunity for our firm to be part of the multi-state and multi-practice model where we feel the industry is headed in default servicing," said managing partner, Andy Shuping, Jr. "Our core values and approach to client service align very well with Brock & Scott which will make this transition very seamless."

Founded in 1998, Brock & Scott has been a mainstay and the default services leader in the Southeast for many years with 17 offices across Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
