Jones Lang LaSalle Appoints Three to Key Leadership Roles

John Scott joined the firm as EVP to enhance the firm's capital markets services in the New York area and surrounding region. In his new role, Scott will focus on equity raising, joint ventures, and other private real estate fund opportunities for institutional clients in New York and across the country.

Scott comes from Jones Lang LaSalle's London office, where he worked with teams in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Gulf region to service a global client base of institutional property fund investors and fund managers.

Scott earned his M.B.A. from Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge and his bachelor's degree from Nottingham University.

The firm also announced the addition of 15-year industry veteran Andrea Howard to lead as SVP in the Carolinas. In her new position, Howard will work to strengthen and grow the firm's apartment expertise in Charlotte, Raleigh, as well as the entire Southeast region.

Howard comes to Jones Lang LaSalle from Grubb Properties, where she served as SVP and was responsible for leading the overall multifamily acquisition and disposition strategy. While at Grubb, Howard also worked as managing director for Grubb Southeast Residential Fund II. In 2011, Howard was selected by the Charlotte Business Journal as one of Charlotte's top ""40 Under 40"" business leaders.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Jones Lang LaSalle appointed Joe Nydahl as VP of multifamily investment brokerage. Nydahl works to expand the firm's expertise throughout Portland and the Northwest region.

Nydahl comes to Jones Lang LaSalle from Gerding Edlen Development, where he worked in multiple phases of real estate development for the past eight years. Most recently, he focused on the development and redevelopment of institutional-grade apartment buildings along the West Coast and across the Northwest.

Nydahl is LEED AP certified from the U.S. Green Building Council and is a licensed real estate broker in Oregon.
