Mortgage Contracting Services Welcomes New Assistant VP of Compliance

MCS Mortgage Contracting Services Greg SmithMortgage Contracting Services (MCS) has named Greg Smith as assistant vice president of compliance in the company's Ruston, Louisiana, office, according to an announcement from MCS.

In his new role with MCS, Smith will oversee the quality assurance of quality control functions in Ruston for both field services and valuations for MCS. His responsibilities will also include handling operational reporting and supporting data analytics.

"Greg has a proven track record of exceptional client service and technical expertise in the financial services industry," MCS CEO Caroline Reaves said. "Our company, clients and the communities in which we operate will benefit by having Greg oversee these QC and QA processes that support the quality initiatives for all of MCS."

Smith's experience includes serving as trust operations manager at Argent Financial Group in Ruston prior to joining MCS. Smith has a BA in finance from Howard Payne University and an MBA in management from West Texas A&M University.

"This is an exciting opportunity for me to bring my commitment to client service together with my training in finance and management," Smith said.

Founded in 1986, MCS is a nationwide provider of property preservation, inspections, REO property maintenance, and valuations to the financial services industry, The company has offices in Plano, Texas; Ruston, Louisiana; and Tampa, Florida.
