Freddie Mac’s Board Elects New Director

A new face has joined ""Freddie Mac's"":http://www.freddiemac.com/ board of directors. The company named Sara Mathew as its latest addition.

Mathew is an executive with global financial and general management experience. She served most recently as CEO of the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation (D&B), leading the[IMAGE] [COLUMN_BREAK]

company's transition to a data, insight, and analytics firm. She joined D&B in 2001 as CFO, working up to president and COO in 2007 and eventually to her current role. Before that, she spent 18 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of finance and management positions, eventually taking over as CFO as one of the company's divisions.

""We are very pleased that Sara is joining the Freddie Mac Board of Directors and we look forward to the insights she will bring,"" said Christopher S. Lynch, non-executive chairman at Freddie Mac. ""She is a proven executive with solid financial and leadership experience in several well-known U.S. companies. Her extensive and varied expertise will be very valuable to the Board and Freddie Mac during an important time for the mortgage industry and the nation.""

In addition, Mathew is a member of the corporate board of Campbell Soup Company, serving as chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Governance Committee.
