Code 3 Realty Introduces Foreclosure Prevention Teleconferences

California real estate company ""Code 3 Realty & Mortgage Inc."":http://www.code3realty.com will begin foreclosure prevention conference calls this month to provide information to homeowners facing foreclosure, as well as owners and renters occupying homes after they have been foreclosed.

Burgess has overseen the sale of over 400 foreclosed homes and short sales over the last three years throughout the company's California offices.

He says neighborhood property values, cities, counties, and utility providers suffer the most when the wrong decisions are made by the occupants of these homes, and

that's prompted Code 3 Realty to make equipping individuals with the information they need to make the right decision concerning their situations a top priority.

Topics to be addressed on the company's teleconferences include: remaining in the property vs. abandoning it even if a foreclosure is pending; the importance of not ignoring notices posted to the door; loan modifications and what they mean for the borrower; and working with a HUD-approved counselor.

While many real estate companies host foreclosure prevention workshops for distressed homeowners, Burgress contends that attendance at these events is usually low.

""... This is a sensitive topic and can be embarrassing for many,"" he said. ""The majority of homeowners struggling to keep their homes would rather not attend an open forum to discuss foreclosure. Telephone conferences are a discrete alternative.""

The first conference is Wednesday, May 25. By joining these conference calls, owners and renters will receive free information about programs and options to assist them.

Code 3 encourages anyone facing foreclosure, considering walking away from a home, or renting a home in foreclosure to attend. The conference is only available to the first 100 callers.
