South & Associates Shareholders Receive Honors

Michael L. Zevitz, shareholder at ""South & Associates, P.C."":http://www.southlaw.com has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2012 edition of _The Best Lawyers in Kansas City_ in the area of mortgage banking foreclosure law.

Zevitz has provided representation to national lenders, trustees, and creditors in foreclosure cases throughout his more than 21 years of practice. He is based out of South & Associates' corporate office in Overland Park, Kansas, and is the firm's managing attorney over judicial foreclosure.

Zevitz currently serves on the board of directors for USFN-America's Mortgage Banking Attorneys. Zevitz received his Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University in 1990. He is licensed with the State Bars of Kansas and Missouri.

Nancy M. Wilson, also a shareholder at South & Associates, has been selected for the inaugural edition of the _Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers_ - exclusively for women attorneys who have achieved the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards from their peers.

Wilson has been practicing for 24 years, providing representation in foreclosure cases for national lenders, trustees, and creditors. She too is located at the firm's Overland Park corporate office. Wilson serves as managing attorney over the litigation department.

Wilson received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kansas in 1987. She is licensed with the state Bars of Kansas and Missouri, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
