""Wells Fargo wants our customers to succeed financially, and helping them stay in their homes is a top priority,"" said the lender's Arizona regional president, Pamela Conboy. ""This workshop will offer homeowners who are facing payment challenges the opportunity to meet face to face with a representative to help find options available for them.""

Nearly 200 home retention team members, including bilingual representatives, will work one-on-one with mortgage customers with payment challenges. Borrowers may receive a decision on a loan modification or other option, such as the federal Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP), on site or shortly following the workshop.

This is the second Home Preservation Workshop Wells Fargo has conducted in Phoenix. In 2009, the bank hosted a similar event, meeting with nearly 2,000 Arizona customers.
