During the past nine months, SLS has added 150 new employees and $8 billion in loans to its servicing portfolio, and Haralson anticipates continued growth within the organization in the next year.

Prior to joining SLS, Southall held executive positions at Litton Loan Servicing for almost a decade. Most recently, he was VP of default administration. Southall also directed a management team that reduced delinquency levels in several critical areas, was responsible for all short sales and deeds-in-lieu for the entire servicing portfolio, and oversaw day-to-day operations, including investor and vendor management, staffing, and employee compensation.

""This is an exciting opportunity for me personally to be in on the ground floor at an instrumental time in the organization,"" Haralson said. ""I am especially impressed by the company's willingness to make changes that will enable us to take advantage of a changing market. There is a lot of flexibility in the ranks and a very dynamic leadership structure.""
