QuestSoft Names Eastern States Manager for Compliance Software Sales

Laguna Hills, California-based ""QuestSoft"":http://www.questsoft.com, a provider of mortgage compliance software and services to lenders, recently announced that Jim Janczy has been appointed regional manager for the eastern part of the United States.

Janczy will focus on the continued sales of ""Compliance EAGLE"":http://www.questsoft.com/compliance_eagle.php, an end-to-end, automated compliance platform; ""HMDA RELIEF;"":http://www.questsoft.com/hmda_relief.php ""CRA RELIEF;"":http://www.questsoft.com/cra_relief.php and other products within QuestSoft's lending compliance suite.

""Compliance will be one of the most critical issues facing lenders once again this year,"" said Leonard Ryan, president of QuestSoft. ""Jim has extensive mortgage banking experience and understands the hurdles lenders are experiencing when it comes to their compliance needs from both a regulatory and secondary market standpoint.""

Janczy has more than 15 years' experience in mortgage banking. Prior to joining QuestSoft, he was the loss mitigation director for Citibank Mortgage in the New England region. He managed a diverse portfolio, including working with both borrowers and investors to modify troubled loans.

From 2006 to 2008 Janczy was the New England regional manager of correspondent lending for Wells Fargo where he was credited with increasing loan production 380 percent from $180 million per year to over $700 million per year.

Prior to his two-year stint at Wells Fargo, Janczy served as president of SouthCoast Financial Group, a mortgage lender licensed in 10 states with loan production of nearly $500 million. During his 10 years there, Janczy was responsible for all aspects of the business, including selling to the secondary market.

In his new position, Janczy is charged with managing QuestSoft's eastern regional sales including a focus on Compliance EAGLE, a Licensee Examination File (LEF) certified automated compliance platform that evaluates loan files against the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), as well as federal, state and local consumer and predatory lending laws. Compliance EAGLE also incorporates additional compliance reviews, including the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), recording fees calculations, and flood determination requirements.

Cheryl Hemingway, the previous Eastern region manager, will be shifting her responsibilities to the Western region where she will coordinate with Janczy's team to offer compliance solutions to mortgage lenders in all 50 states.
