Stewart Lender Services Announces Three Key Partnerships

Houston-based ""Stewart Lender Services"":http://www.stewartlenderservices.com (SLS), a nationwide provider of centralized origination, loss mitigation, and REO asset solutions for mortgage lenders and servicers, has announced three key partnerships that will allow the company to expand its service offerings.
[IMAGE] Stewart will collaborate with ""Inglet Blair, LLC"":http://www.ingletblair.com/, a company that analyses residential mortgage loans and other forms of secured mortgage-related debt, to launch Stewart's risk analysis and data integrity services. These services provide clients with an analysis of residential mortgage loans and other secured mortgage-related debt to enable better risk management.

""What we are offering is part of the next wave of mortgage lending services,"" said Jason Nadeau, president of SLS. ""It enables Stewart to continue to provide a full breadth of services for our mortgage lender and servicer customers throughout the lifecycle of a loan. Our partnership with Inglet Blair brings together two strong industry players and leverages both of our strengths to provide the full range of services to our customers.""

SLS's Web-based due diligence and compliance system offers flexible reporting capabilities for pool-level or loan-level results and can accommodate third-party integration. The company's forensic review team provides a forensic audit and contractual terms review of under-performing or nonperforming mortgage loans to identify and assist clients in defending against frivolous repurchase claims.

house quality control staff and can be conducted in accordance with guidelines set forth by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) or Veterans' Affairs.""

In conjunction with Spectrum Field Services, a provider of creative field inspection solutions for the financial services and real estate industries, SLS will offer an FHA lending qualification package, providing investors with an analysis of options available for maximizing loss recovery for REO assets.

With the FHA qualification package, investors can receive up-front validation for vacant assets. The program determines if the asset meets the minimum lending requirements for an FHA program, if the asset is eligible for a limited scope rehabilitation option, or if the asset can be backed by FHA financing and sold as-is.

""This package includes a full range of services for analyzing the property's current status, rehabilitation costs, and market expectations,"" said Nadeau. ""It takes existing services and packages them into a sensible flow that will certainly accelerate the time to market the REO properties.""

SLS is also partnering with Field Asset Services (FAS), a provider of field services to the REO industry, to offer lenders, servicers, and investors ""7 in 7,"" an REO asset management and disposition solution.

7 in 7 offers the seven primary services required for effective REO asset management and disposition on a nationwide basis completed in an average of seven days for a flat fee. Services include inspection; preservation; utilities management; valuation; marketing strategy; title search, curative, and commitment; and closing.
