The ""Short Sale Association of America"":http://www.ssaa.org (SSAA) recently launched a pre-notice of default (pre-NOD) map for real estate professionals looking for distressed property leads. Users can find and order pre-NOD leads by ZIP code and number of days late on mortgage payments using an interactive heat map.

The ""new heat map"":http://www.prenodmap.com provides lead counts for each state, county, and ZIP code, which are live-streamed from the credit bureaus. The map is also color-coded to illustrate high to low rates of default. Users can order pre-NOD leads by the number of days homeowners are counted by the credit bureaus as late on their mortgage payments.
In February, SSAA also released its Marketing Assistance Program, which automatically mails a customized letter to lead lists when they are available for download. Members using the program can pinpoint marketing pieces that work best in their areas.
Based in Kentucky, SSAA provides lead generation, marketing assistance, home appointment training, listing conversion, short sale processing, and short sale closings to the real estate industry.
SSAA's lead management and appointment scheduling systems are free for the platform's users.
