Signature Associates Launches Commercial Loss Mit Division

""Signature Associates"":http://www.signatureassociates.com, a commercial real estate firm based in Southfield, Michigan, announced this week the launch of a new business unit â€" Signature Mortgage[IMAGE]Solutions (SMS). The new division offers services such as mortgage term extensions, mortgage workouts, and refinancing.

""Signature is on the forefront of Michigan's dramatic changes and has always been very quick to respond and adapt to the needs of our valued clients"", said Steven G. Gordon, president of Signature Associates. ""We have been offering our clients mortgage solutions for years. Formalizing and extending those services with Signature Mortgage Solutions was the next logical step.""

In today's economy, many commercial properties are in jeopardy because the mortgages and balloon payments are coming due and refinancing options are limited. To compound the problem, many property owners are unaware of the commercial loan modification programs available that can save the property and secure their investment.

Signature Associates explained that SMS will guide clients through the process of property and market evaluation, crafting a hardship letter, workout proposal, mediation/negotiation, and loan modification.

""We have long-standing relationships with banks, life companies, pensions, special services, and borrowers,"" said Bruce A. Morrison, managing director of Signature Mortgage Solutions. ""They know us. They trust us. Finding a win/win middle ground is what we do.""

Signature Associates, with offices throughout Michigan and in Ohio, provides a diversity of services to the commercial real estate market, including industrial, office, and retail brokerage; investment sales; property and asset management; market research; mortgage banking; and advisory services.
