""Lynn was a panelist at our recent REO Boot Camp in Carlsbad, California, and his knowledge, insights, and straight-forward perspective on the REO business were very potent,"" Corcoran said. ""But it was his one-hour presentation on the REO business which was laced with motivational wisdom and his personal story of overcoming adversity that blew me away, and I knew then that Lynn would be an awesome addition to our company.""
Effinger, who has a high profile within the REO field because of his background and longevity in the business, as well as his participation in numerous industry conferences and seminars as a panelist and featured speaker, said he was honored to be asked to join the Corcoran team.
""I have worked on both the client and vendor sides of the REO business, as well as working in the retail real estate and new home arenas over the years, and all of the experience and knowledge I have gained, coupled with my speaking and presentation skills will lend themselves perfectly to my new position,"" Effinger said.
He added, ""I haven't been this excited about a new challenge in many, many years and I look forward to contributing to the continued success of Bob's outstanding company.""
