Farmington Hills, Michigan-based ""Attorneys Title Agency"":http://www.attorneys-title.com (ATA), a full-service title company providing services throughout the state of Michigan, announced Wednesday that it has acquired the assets of Portage, Michigan-based ""Pinnacle Title Agency"":http://pinnacletitleagency.com/.
The transaction, which closed on December 1, enhances the ATA footprint in a market that has long intrigued the title insurance provider, the company said in a statement.

Pinnacle was owned and operated by George Amar, a title insurance professional with more than 35 years' experience in the industry. Amar and his staff will join the ATA team.
Pinnacle Title Agency will operate as an ATA office, supervised by the agency's Southwest Michigan manager, Terry Pingel.
