""BestAssets"":http://www.best-assets.com/ has named Melvin Siemer to the position of EVP and director of asset management services, responsible for the national strategic growth of the company's operations and business development.
[IMAGE] [COLUMN_BREAK]Siemer leads a team of REO and default servicing professionals that service national, regional, and community banks, as well as credit unions and mortgage servicers. He also works closely with a national network of real estate brokers, subcontractors, appraisers, and property inspectors to provide REO default services and other complementary products.
Siemer brings with him over 30 years of broad-based REO experience, including the management and marketing of REO inventory nationwide. He previously served as EVP of Foreclosure Management Co./Nations REO.
In addition, Siemer was responsible for mortgage loan production nationwide and P&L as national production manager for Fremont Investment and EVP at Centex Home Equity, currently operating as NationStar Mortgage LLC. He has also held senior management positions at Citi.
