Quandis Launches SCRA Plug-In for Law Firms

""Quandis, Inc."":http://www.quandis.com/, announced Tuesday the release of a new plug-in tool to assist default servicing law firms in adhering to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA).

The SCRA is intended to suspend certain civil obligations (such as credit card debt or mortgage payments) to enable service members to devote their full attention to duty. Quandis' plug-in was designed for law firms that don't have the IT resources to configure Quandis' military search platform in a way that works with their internal legal applications.

The new SCRA solution works by adding the plug-in to the user's Microsoft Excel program. Searches can be conducted from within the spreadsheet by using Quandis' military search interface to find active military personnel. Without the plug-in, law firms would be forced to perform searches manually on the Department of Defense's website.

""Earlier this year, we integrated our military search service with one of the leading legal case management systems (CMS) in default servicing space, KMCIS' CaseAware solution, to seamlessly populate our search results into their CMS,"" said Scott Stoddard, CEO of Quandis. ""However, not all law firms currently have the IT staff and time needed to configure the data fields on their end, yet they have a burning need to ensure they comply with the SCRA. This plug-in enables them to immediately take advantage of our service with zero IT resources until they have the time to map the fields in their CMS to achieve a fully integrated solution.""

""In short, it's a very effective alternative to circumvent waiting for an integration to be completed; and, it's very quick to implement.""

Headquartered in Foothill Ranch, California, Quandis is a default management software provider specializing in web-based solutions for the lending industry.
