""Quandis, Inc."":http://www.quandis.com/, announced Tuesday the release of a new plug-in tool to assist default servicing law firms in adhering to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA).
[IMAGE]The SCRA is intended to suspend certain civil obligations (such as credit card debt or mortgage payments) to enable service members to devote their full attention to duty. Quandis' plug-in was designed for law firms that don't have the IT resources to configure Quandis' military search platform in a way that works with their internal legal applications.
The new SCRA solution works by adding the plug-in to the user's Microsoft Excel program. Searches can be conducted from within the spreadsheet by using Quandis' military search interface to find active military personnel. Without the plug-in, law firms would be forced to perform searches manually on the Department of Defense's website.
