MBA Hires New Associate VP of Industry Technology

The ""Mortgage Bankers Association"":http://www.mortgagebankers.org (MBA) has appointed Richard J. Hill as associate VP of industry technology. Hill's responsibilities include supporting the oversight of[IMAGE]

MBA's subsidiary, the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization Inc. (MISMO), and the technology content of MBA's conferences.

Hill will also work directly with the association's commercial and residential technology committees and the research and government affairs staff on technology and data quality issues affecting the real estate finance industry.

Most recently, Hill was the managing director of iNovate Solutions, a business and technology consulting firm. He was also director of data strategy at Fannie Mae for 20 years. In this role, he managed the data requirements teams that rewrote the GSE's major operational systems. He has also held auditor positions at Deloitte and Touche and Tarica and Company.

Hill received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the College of William and Mary and is a certified public accountant.

The MBA's membership of more than 2,200 companies includes all elements of real estate finance including mortgage companies, mortgage brokers, commercial banks, thrifts, Wall Street conduits, life insurance companies, and others in the mortgage lending field. It is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
