MCS Completes Examination of Reporting Controls

""Mortgage Contracting Services LLC"":http://www.mcs360.com/default.aspx (MCS) announced Tuesday the completion of its Type 2 SSAE No. 16 and SOC 3 examinations.

The two reporting controls standards will replace former controls to ensure improved services from MCS. SOC 3 covers the protection of systems against unauthorized access. The examinations, conducted by an independent CPA firm, ensure that MCS' information system reporting adheres to industry best practices.

""A primary focus for MCS is compliance to investor, municipal, and regulatory guidelines, and so ensuring that we have met and exceeded our own compliance objectives and internal controls is priority,"" said Caroline Reaves, CEO of MCS. ""To us, it demonstrates our commitment to assuring the effectiveness of our controls and that we are well positioned to successfully support our clients by giving them confidence in our operations, compliance, and financial reporting.""
